Clear expectations for using the EEPAC website and learning platform.
These website terms explain the basic conditions for access. Approved participants also receive the current participant terms during secure account activation.
Using the site
Use EEPAC for its intended program purpose
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, impersonate another person or use another participant’s invitation or account.
Accounts and security
Keep your account and secure links private
Participant accounts are created through the approved invitation process. Choose a strong password, sign out on shared devices and tell the program team promptly if you believe an invitation, password or account has been compromised.
Program materials
Use learning resources for your participation
Course materials, templates and platform content may be used for your own learning and business development within the program. Do not republish, sell or distribute substantial program materials unless the rights holder has given permission.
Your work
You remain responsible for your business decisions
You retain responsibility for the ideas, information and decisions you contribute. Share only material you have the right to use, and avoid including unnecessary confidential, third-party or regulated information.
Educational information
The program does not replace professional advice
Business, legal, tax, accounting, financial and regulatory content is general educational information. Obtain qualified advice for decisions that depend on your circumstances or current law.
Availability and changes
The program may update content and access arrangements
The organisation may maintain, secure, correct or improve the website and learning platform. Cohort dates, delivery details and program materials may be updated, with important participant changes communicated through the appropriate program channel.
Current participant account terms
EEPAC Participant Account Terms
These terms govern an approved participant’s EEPAC account and use of the protected learning service administered by Africa Centre. The version accepted during activation remains associated with the participant record.
Eligibility and account creation
A EEPAC account is created only after a human acceptance decision and a secure invitation. The account is personal to the approved participant and must not be transferred, sold, shared or used to create access for another person. Creating another account to avoid a restriction is not permitted.
Credentials and secure links
Participants must choose a strong password, keep credentials and secure links private, sign out on shared devices and notify admin@eepac.ca promptly if unauthorised access is suspected. Program staff will not ask for a password or ask a participant to forward an activation, application-return or password-reset link.
Permitted use
The account may be used for the participant’s own EEPAC profile, cohort information, learning activities, saved work, evidence, peer-feedback workflow, facilitator review, support and program communications. Attempts to access another person’s record, interfere with the platform, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, defeat access controls or use the service unlawfully are prohibited.
Respectful participation and peer confidentiality
Participants must communicate respectfully, follow reasonable facilitator instructions and protect information shared by peers. Peer work and feedback may be used only for the assigned learning activity and must not be copied, disclosed or exploited outside that context without permission. Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation and deliberate disruption are not permitted.
Participant material
Participants retain ownership of original material they create, subject to any rights they grant elsewhere. They give Africa Centre permission to store, reproduce and display submitted material only as reasonably needed to provide, assess, secure, support and evidence the program. Participants must have the right to submit the material and should avoid unnecessary personal information about other people.
Learning evidence and completion
The platform records learning progress, activity state, submitted evidence, peer-feedback events, facilitator review and revision history. Submission alone does not establish completion. Completion follows the published learning requirements and the applicable facilitator acceptance decision. Feedback supports learning and does not guarantee funding, business performance, legal compliance, profitability or any other commercial outcome.
Educational information
EEPAC materials are educational and general. Participants remain responsible for business, financial, tax, legal, regulatory and professional decisions and should obtain appropriately qualified advice where needed.
Service availability and changes
The service may be maintained, updated, corrected or temporarily restricted to protect users, evidence or the platform. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate material interruptions. Program content, schedules or features may change where required for accessibility, quality, security or delivery, while preserving completed records and applicable commitments where reasonably possible.
Suspension, withdrawal and closure
Access may be paused or closed to protect the service, investigate misuse, administer withdrawal or deferral, comply with a documented requirement or complete the approved retention process. Decisions should be proportionate and recorded. Where appropriate, the participant will be told what happened and how to contact the program team.
Privacy and support
Participant information is handled under the applicable EEPAC privacy, access and retention controls. Profile preferences can be reviewed or corrected through My EEPAC where available. Contact admin@eepac.ca for account, accessibility, privacy or technical help.
Changes to these terms
Material changes are issued as a new version and may require renewed acknowledgement. Continued use cannot replace renewed consent where the platform requires an explicit acceptance.
